These online crash courses are part of the activities of the project ‘Co-operation Youth vote: Enabling future active European citizens’, with the aims to offer a space for training in the preparation of the 2024 European Parliament election campaigns. Within its activities for capacity building and training, we have develop two online courses that are framed in: European Civic Education and Communication and Online dissemination.
First Online Crash Courses – European Civic Education
In this form you can register to be part of the first online crash course organised by YOUNG EDUCATORS – EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION.
It will focus on European civic education activities through the non-formal education approach and method.
What will you get from this experience?
- You will strengthen tools and skills in European Civic education;
- You will strengthen skills, capacities and tools for the debate in relation to the European Union, its impact on daily life and the upcoming European Parliament elections;
- You will gain tools to carry out events and processes to attract, train and guide young people, particularly early voters and young people who have refrained from participating in other electoral processes or young people who still feel insecure about participating
The course has a total of 2 hours divided in four parts:
First part | Introduction to the project |
| Second part | Myths about the EU; Challenges and achievements of the EU |
Third part | What does it mean to be an European Citizen; How to organise events and mobilise people |
Fourth part | What can Europe do for you vs what can you do for Europe?; Introduction to non-formal methods |
We will have ONE LAST training for you to join. Choose the date that best suits your schedule:
- Thursday 19th october (6:00 PM Lisbon Time – 7:00 PM Brussels Time – 8:00 PM Riga Time)
- Friday 20th october (5:00 PM Lisbon Time – 6:00 PM Brussels Time – 7:00 PM Riga Time)
The COYV Project is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus + Programme.
All participants will receive a Youth Pass certificate.
